Newborn Baby/Hospital Outfit Favorites -2024 Top Picks

With Baby Number 7 on its way, I’m always in the hunt for cute, gender neutral or soft color outfits for the baby for the hospital and then for going home and those first few months.

Caden Lane is one of my favorite go to shops for neutral baby clothing, especially for newborn baby. I love that their fit is just right and the colors are soft and gentle and not bold and tacky.

The Oatmeal Waffle Set is my favorite and I’ve had/used for several babies and packed for the hospital. I love that you can use it for a Boy or a Girl ( if you don’t know baby’s gender before they are born) and that you can accessorize with hair bows for a girl and hats for a boy.

I love the swaddle blanket with it as well as the nursing cover that is also usable as a car seat cover too!

In addition to packing a neutral set I also pack something for boy and girl because we don’t find out the gender of the baby until he/she is born, but I still like to feel prepared and have something for either gender.
